Partnering with Project Managers, Creative Directors and Production Engineers I facilitated and executed on the creation of marketing collateral for a variety of Dow Jones campaigns.
Examples: New Years Sales, Cyber Monday, Lunar New Years, Election Coverage, etc.

Client would approach our team with requests for new design layouts. Utilizing Dow Jones's design system and brand identity I would then produce designs that matched their request. With an iterative, internal designer and external client concept review process we would arrive and deliver a design that best aligned with the clients needs.

The designs process of each campaign involved a collaborative effort between myself, the client, and project management, involving multiple rounds of feedback and iteration. Key steps included:
Concept Exploration: Utilizing the current branding I developed a variety of design concepts that matched the clients brief.
Visual Design: Developing high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that incorporated branding guidelines, ensuring consistency and visual appeal.
Iteration and Feedback: Continuously refining the designs based on feedback from the client and other stakeholders, incorporating their suggestions, and addressing any concerns.
Digital File Management: Prepared and packaged design files with the appropriate naming conventions and file size for ease of client use.

The clients approved and utilized 700+ static and animated social assets designs for their marketing campaigns on all major social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, etc.)

Client Communication: Effective communication is essential. Before starting any project it is best to understand the clients brief, deadline, and deliverables while setting expectations. This is important for delivering accurate and effective marketing material that they will love with limited need for revision.
Ask Questions: If information is not given or there is uncertainty regarding the clients ask, ask them. We are all human, information can be wrong or accidentally left out. Own up to issues, quickly fix errors and learn from mistakes.
Time management: The importance of efficient time utilization in the design projects. The client may want adjustments or last minute changes so bake in time for design iterations or adjustments so you aren't scrambling at the end.

Working for eg+ worldwide as a contract employee for our client Dow Jones was an amazing learning opportunity. It was awesome to scroll through social media and see my designs in the wild helping to market towards their user base.
